terms of service

effective 1 June 2026

1. who we are

marrymint.co is a wedding planning platform operated by MarryMint (ABN 77 218 561 547), Melbourne, Victoria, Australia. By using our service, you agree to these terms. If you don't agree, please don't use the platform.

2. your account

You must provide accurate information when creating an account. You are responsible for keeping your login credentials secure and for all activity under your account. You must be 18 or older to use marrymint.co.

3. plans and payments

We offer three plans: Free ($0), Essential ($89 AUD one-time), and Complete ($139 AUD one-time). All paid plans are one-time purchases — there are no recurring charges.

Payments are processed securely by a PCI-compliant third-party payment processor. All prices are in Australian dollars (AUD). We do not store your card details.

Custom domain purchases (included in Essential and Complete) are subject to domain availability and the domain registrar's terms. Domain registrations are non-refundable once processed.

4. guest limits

Each plan includes a guest limit for RSVP tracking and the guest list:

  • Free: up to 50 guests
  • Essential: up to 160 guests
  • Complete: up to 500 guests

If your guest list exceeds your plan's limit, please contact us at support@marrymint.co and we will arrange access on a case-by-case basis.

5. your content

You retain ownership of all photos, text, and content you upload to marrymint.co. By uploading content, you grant us a non-exclusive, royalty-free licence to store, display and process it solely for the purpose of providing the service. This licence terminates when you delete your account. We will never sell or share your content with third parties for marketing purposes.

6. intellectual property

We own all intellectual property in the marrymint.co platform, including the software, design, templates, and branding. Nothing in these terms transfers any of our intellectual property to you. Your right to use the platform is limited to the licence granted under these terms.

7. guest data

Our platform allows you to upload personal information about third parties, including your wedding guests. By providing this information, you represent and warrant that:

  • you have obtained the consent of each individual whose personal information you provide, or you are otherwise authorised to provide it
  • you have informed those individuals that their information will be processed by us in accordance with our Privacy Policy
  • you will not upload sensitive information (as defined in the Privacy Act 1988 (Cth)) about any third party without their express consent

Guest information is private to your account. We process guest personal information solely for the purpose of delivering the service to you. We will not contact your guests for marketing or any purpose unrelated to your wedding.

8. acceptable use

You agree not to use marrymint.co to:

  • upload content that is unlawful, harmful, or infringes on third-party rights
  • attempt to access or interfere with other users' accounts or data
  • use the platform for any commercial purpose other than your own wedding planning
  • distribute spam or unsolicited communications to guests via our invitation tools
  • reverse-engineer, decompile, or attempt to extract the source code of the platform

9. third-party services

marrymint.co relies on trusted third-party service providers for certain functions, including payment processing, authentication, email delivery, print fulfilment, cloud hosting, and domain registration. We select these providers with care but do not control their systems. Your use of the platform may involve the processing of your data by these providers, each of which operates under their own terms and privacy policies. We are not liable for any interruption or loss arising from the acts or omissions of any third-party provider, to the maximum extent permitted by law. Our use of cookies and analytics, advertising, and session-analytics technologies is described in our Privacy Policy.

10. physical print orders

Printed invitations are fulfilled by a third-party print-on-demand provider. Once a print order is submitted and accepted for production, it cannot be cancelled or refunded. Please review your design carefully before ordering. Delivery times are estimates and may vary.

11. refunds

We do not offer refunds for change of mind. However, our services come with guarantees that cannot be excluded under the Australian Consumer Law. You are entitled to a replacement or refund for a major failure and compensation for any other reasonably foreseeable loss or damage. If the failure does not amount to a major failure, you are entitled to have the service re-supplied within a reasonable time.

Domain registrations are non-refundable once processed, as they are fulfilled by a third-party registrar and cannot be reversed. If you believe you have experienced a service failure, please contact us at support@marrymint.co within 14 days and we will review your case.

12. availability and data

We aim to keep marrymint.co available and your data safe, but we cannot guarantee uninterrupted service. We back up data regularly and will notify you of any significant issues affecting your content. We reserve the right to suspend accounts that violate these terms.

13. limitation of liability

Nothing in these terms excludes, restricts or modifies any guarantee, right or remedy you may have under the Australian Consumer Law (Schedule 2 of the Competition and Consumer Act 2010 (Cth)) or any other applicable law that cannot be excluded, restricted or modified by agreement.

To the maximum extent permitted by law, our total aggregate liability arising under or in connection with these terms or your use of the platform (whether in contract, tort including negligence, statute or otherwise) is limited to the total fees paid by you in the 12 months preceding the event giving rise to the liability, or $100 AUD, whichever is greater.

To the maximum extent permitted by law, we are not liable for any loss of profit, loss of revenue, loss of opportunity, loss of data, or any indirect, incidental, special or consequential loss arising in connection with your use of the platform, whether foreseeable or not. These limitations do not apply to liability that cannot be excluded under the Australian Consumer Law, fraud or wilful misconduct, or death or personal injury caused by our negligence.

14. indemnity

You agree to indemnify, defend and hold harmless marrymint.co and its officers, employees and agents from and against all losses, liabilities, costs (including reasonable legal costs), damages and expenses arising from or in connection with:

  • any content, data or materials you upload, submit or transmit through the platform, including any claim by a third party that such content infringes their intellectual property rights or violates their privacy
  • personal information of third parties (including wedding guests) that you provide through the platform without appropriate consent
  • your breach of these terms
  • your negligent or unlawful conduct

This indemnity does not apply to the extent that the relevant loss or claim was caused or contributed to by our negligent act or omission or breach of these terms.

15. account termination

You may cancel your account at any time by contacting us at support@marrymint.co.

We may suspend or terminate your account immediately if: you breach these terms and fail to remedy the breach within 14 days of notice; you breach these terms in a way that cannot be remedied; we reasonably suspect fraudulent, illegal or harmful activity; or you fail to pay any fees when due.

On termination, your right to access the platform ceases. You will have 30 days to export your data, after which we may delete it. We will delete your personal information in accordance with our Privacy Policy, subject to any legal obligation to retain records.

16. changes to these terms

We may update these terms from time to time. We'll notify you by email or in-app notice before any material changes take effect. Continued use after notice constitutes acceptance.

17. dispute resolution

These terms are governed by the laws of Victoria, Australia. Each party submits to the non-exclusive jurisdiction of the courts of Victoria and the Federal Court of Australia.

If a dispute arises, the party claiming the dispute must give written notice setting out its nature. Within 14 days, both parties must attempt to resolve the dispute in good faith. If not resolved within 28 days, either party may refer the dispute to mediation administered by the Resolution Institute in Melbourne, with costs shared equally. If not resolved within 28 days of appointing a mediator, either party may commence court proceedings.

Nothing in this clause prevents either party from seeking urgent relief from a court at any time.
